On 4/25/25 we received service from Manual & Jorge to install a new Basement Defender System and flush out current pipe system. We were advised by Manual that this flushing was not needed due to the area we are in and our bill was reduced by $730. We would like to thank Manual and Jorge for the excellent service, and friendly manner in which they took care of our questions and their honesty. We feel that it is necessary to recognize good service and honesty in good employees.

Jim G came out to my home today and was excellent. He explained why i was getting water and how he can fix it. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Christian was great. He let me know it was time to change my battery. And it is time to replace my ejector pump. I will keep this in mind.

Mr. Liguras made sure I understood everything he was telling and showed me. Very patient he was due to the fact this was a very scary situation for me, I felt comfortable with the consultation, meaning I didn’t feel like I was being bamboozled.

Manny came by yesterday to put in the electric for the outside pump for the flood control system. He explained what he was doing, where the conduit was being run. Did an excellent job. Installed the alarm system for the outside system and told us what to do if the alarm did happen to go off. Thumbs up.

I am delighted to say Chris Madison was on time. He called twenty minutes prior to the appointment to inform me he would be on his way. Chris was professional. He thoroughly checked my basement and clarified my situation. He also gave me several options including suggesting the better option. I didn’t feel pressured. Chris represented his company well!

Back in July, my house in Chicago was hit with our fourth sewer back. We had two feet of sewer water and lost everything. All the contractors we talked to saw this is likely to happen again. I reached out to Permaseal and was connected to Don B.
We met during my first flood but we couldn’t afford the service at the time. Once we gave them a deposit and secured a date, the rest was seemless. The crew arrived on December 11th were super nice and professional and got the project done two hours earlier than expected.

Mauriano and Mauro did a great job repairing cracks in my basement foundation. Their work is professional and thorough. I am relieved to have these cracks in the foundation gone. They left the entire work area so clean it was hard to believe all that was done without dirt and dust everywhere. I highly recommend a business that hires men as capable as Maurino and Mauro! Great concern for the customer!

I’ve used PermaSeal a few times over the years to repair some foundation cracks. Vicente contacted me prior to arrival and was very polite and punctual, which I greatly appreciated. After a brief discussion with him to better educate myself, he was very open about my repair options and future possibilities should additional work need to be done. After that he went to work and knocked everything out pretty quickly. We reviewed everything that was done and he was on his way. You can’t help but respect a person who comes in, educates you and does his job with great customer service skills. This has become a lot art form. Thank you

I had major seepage problems, the crew that came and did the work were excellent. They jackhammered my basement floor and installed a new sump pump basin and sump pump and installed a French drain beneath my foundation. They kept the mess to minimal and worked very hard. I also had 2 minor problems after the work and Permaseal did come back and address them both. My problem is with the salesperson, Jim A. he was very responsive until I signed on the dotted line. I am still waiting to get a paid copy of my invoice and when I signed off on the job at the end of the day the crew chief said that they would come back in spring to finish the outside because my work was being done in the middle of January, sounded fine with me. Now nobody seems be able to verify this and are saying that it is an extra charge, really? I was sold a complete project from start to finish per Jim. Now I can’t even get him to respond. In addition, he gave me poor information on two points of my basement project that could have been major problems if the Permaseal crews had not corrected his direction.

My patience paid off. The first technician Perma-Seal sent out for service didn’t seem to have a clue of what he was doing. Nothing got done, in part because I felt it best to have another technician do the work. Trusting in the reputation Perma-Seal has established for themselves, I waited it out for another technician at a later date. I was so right!!! I haven’t had a drop of leakage in my basement ever since.

Howard installed a new water heater and replaced the ejection pump. He worked professionally, answered questions, and cleaned up the work area.Manuel worked quickly repairing a crack in the basement wall. He remembered working at our home when Perma-seal installed the basement waterproofing. We have a Perma-seal preventative maintenance agreement to ensure we do not have any water problems. We have only had good experiences with the Perma-seal employees.

Jorge Paredes was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I decided to go ahead with the repair of foundation cracks. I am looking forward to a dry basement again.

We are very happy with the services we received filling our 4 structural foundation cracks. Marco Botello was our installer and chief, and he was incredible and very professional. He was very friendly, and worked incredibly hard… I recommend him as a installer.

We needed to have a new water leakage on the basement floor checked and Ramon Duron couldn’t have been more thorough and efficient in diagnosing and then explaining the possible causes of the leak and then checking and replacing the sump pump back-up battery and water level alarm. He is an asset to your company and will be asking for him by name for any further work. Fair pricing and a great job!

Would like to thank Matt Tomfohrde who came to my home to wire in a separate breaker for my new Sump Pump. Not only did he do the wiring in a quick time frame also relabeled my electric panel for me. This is a good safety measure. He explained everything for me and labeled my panel as to know what switches are used for. Did a good job for me. Thank You

Allen Laundie was efficient in checking to ensure that my sump pump was functioning properly in this bitter cold weather. He also was thorough in explaining to me the importance of having a back up sump pump which will be installed next week.

Vincente and Mario were personable, worked efficiently and answered all of my questions plus they cleaned up the job site and left everything spotless.

Allen Laundie was our technician and he was a pleasure to have working on our home. He was friendly and polite upon arrival and explained his background and expertise. He evaluated both of the sump pumps in our small condo building. When one was found to be not functioning, he was able to replace it on the spot, which was really helpful and convenient! The other, while functioning, was old, so he provided the information I needed to bring back to our small condo association to consider replacement. In addition, he revised his estimate for backup pumps down after evaluating our existing set up- when does that happen? Because of our location, the completely dry condition of our existing pumps and because we haven’t had water in the basement ever, he determined we could safely go with a smaller backup than is the usual recommendation, which would really save us money! We were unable to do the camera exam of the sewer line because of an extremely old catch basin set up, but Allen explained how we could do the exam at another time if we had access to one of the basement unit’s stacks. Allen was great to work with, polite and friendly, and provided me with a lot of valuable information. I would be happy to work with him and Perma Seal in the future!

Matt Tomfohrde service tech arrived at my home in the time frame promised. He check out my old system and determined that it was failing and told me he recommend replacing the pumps. He was every Knowledgeable and discussed my options with me. I decided to have both pumps replaced along new batteries for the back up system. I would recommend him and his company to do any work at my home.

Perfecto, Leopoldo and Alejandro were punctual, courteous, professional and very pleasant. They examined my 10-year old pump and determined it needed to be replaced as well as the bubbler pot that was broken. They were efficient and showed me the completed work so I was aware of exactly what was done. Great people.
