Shane was always honest with us, in the course of his investigation, step-by-step: It was a confusing situation: the blue transmitter box was giving a false reading: The “WIFI” indicator was green, even though we do not have a WIFI subscription – so it should have been red. The “Active” indicator was red, which was correct, since we do not have a subscription. The “Alert” indicator was red, which was incorrect, since the system was operational, so it should have been green.

(1) Shane swapped-out the blue transmitter box with a new one that was working. The original blue transmitter box was still under warranty (2024). “Alert” indicator is now green, which is correct. The “WIFI” and “Active” indicators are red, which is correct.

(2) In the course of his testing, Shane noticed that the Primary pump was erratic, sometimes working, sometimes not (Intermittent). It had been installed by Perma-Seal in July 2018, so it was nearly 7 years of age and had seen a lot of use in the past few seasons. So Shane recommended replacing it now, instead of waiting for something to happen and being suddenly helpless in an emergency flooding situation. After due consideration, my wife and I both agreed with Shane’s assessment, so we decided to have Shane install the new Zoeller Primary Pump. The Battery Backup Pump is already operational.

Jim G was out today. He performed a hose test and found the leak. He showed a presentation on how we can fix. Very professinal.

Christian did a fantastic job installing my new DC Defender system. My questions are always non-stop regarding any service call and he answered them all in detail and with patience! I will be scheduling installation of a Perma-Dry system in the next 4-6 weeks and hope to maybe see Christian again!

Robert Linard came out and diagnosed the moisture in our basement which was resulting in peeling paint and discoloration. He ran a hose test and advised us to seal the seam between the driveway and our stucco house. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. On the way out he spotted pur baby grand piano and played a couple tunes for us. Very impressive!!

Antonio was very kind and patient. He was not able to identify where the leak is coming from but gave me clear instructions on what to look for and where. I feel he took the required time, double checked multiple areas and went into the crawl space multiple times without getting frustrated or upset.

Hugo Morales who is a Perma-Seal crew chief was supersonically competent to accomplish this project. The two man team was exactly on time to start the job and they worked continuously and efficiently. Their work effort was efficient and successful.

I contacted Perma-Seal to quote a foundation repair. Michael Kulis was punctual and very knowledgeable of basement waterproofing and repair. Michael was honest and clearly explained our options in addressing our repairs.I would highly recommend Michael and Perma-Seal for foundation repair.

From the sales consultant, Christopher Brayton, to the work crew, Fidel, Sergio and Isai, our Perma-Seal experience is favorable. We appreciated their courtesy, professionalism, knowledge, expertise and diligence. They made us feel comfortable with this daunting project. Xavier and Alex from the Poly department came to my house to repair the cracks to my backyard patio as a result from a poor job done by the first team sent by Permaseal. Xavier and Alex were the second service team that came out to correct the service from the first team that came who were horrible. The first team lifted the foundation and filled the cracks with stone and rubble. It was a disaster. Immediately we called as the job was unacceptable. Months later due to scheduling/weather they sent Xavier and Alex from the Poly department and immediately they resolved the problem. Their work was very smooth and visually appealing. They took their time and ensure accuracy with the visual representation of the job. I highly recommend this team and am so thankful they were sent to rectify the initial problem. Please hire more individuals like Xavier and Alex. They are both a great example for your company.

Mike T. came by and was able to help us book an appointment to fix our wet basement. He was very thorough and had answers to all the questions my wife and I had. I haven’t had the service yet, but based on the company’s reputation and warranty, I feel like I am in good hands.

Mike and Erik were great.

Mike T was able to identify the source of the leak in the basement wall very quickly. He presented the possible solutions and advised as to the most efficient and economical fix. The service call was scheduled very easily and we expect the repair to go smoothly. He also noted issues with the window wells in the foundation and I was able to add those repairs to the service call.

Mike Tigge has been an awesome resource for us! We first met him 10 years ago when he inspected our leaky foundation and correctly diagnosed the repairs. Then he helped us after a major flooding problem with an ejector pit and overhead sewer piping to prevent more sewer backups during huge storms. He came out again recently to evaluate our basement for interior drain tile. Mike really knows his stuff, and we’re happy to know him through Permaseal.

We just moved into a house that needed a lot of work done. One of the major projects that we need to tackle is the basement and the foundation crack/sump pump/ and overall getting the basement up to par and in working order. Mike Tigges came out today to provide a quote/consultation and he did an awesome job. We had another appointment scheduled for a competitor later this month and I ended up just cancelling it. He took care of everything! Looking forward to finally checking this project off our huge project list.

1:05 am, April 30 – The new sump pump/pit/window drainage installed in July 2019 is perfect.Without it, we would have every window well full of water and at least a few inches of water in the basement.The pump cycles every couple of minutes, and I’d estimate the sump pit is receiving a couple of gallons of ground water every minute.Sure hope it stops raining soon.Thanks for the excellent system.

Ken Allen Laundie and Rego were very professional. They came to inspect the functionality of the check valve/ ejector pit system in our front yard. They were a little early to the job, but came with everything they needed to change my 9 year old Pump ( working fine but past its service life expectation), and inspect the lines feeding the pit. I am very satisfied with the service and recommendations they provided.

I needed to replace my sump pump and decided to get the Basement Defender as well! Ramon Duron handled the job quite well and was very polite and knowledgeable. He managed his time very well! I would highly recommend Permaseal to handle all the tough jobs. I am a long time customer and not interested in using any other company!

Three years ago, I signed up for a 5-year package of annual maintenance visits by Permaseal to check the system they installed. I love that I did this. Each year I get a phone call to remind me it is time for the scheduled maintenance (I have no way to forget). A service person comes, goes through everything, checks (and if necessary, cleans) my sump pump pit and machine and all the lines. They also check the basement walls for cracks and go over all of it with me. I like that they are service oriented and not ‘sales driven.’

Very happy to have Ken Allen Laundie and Rigo come out today for maintenance on my sewer vault. Ken was very knowledgeable and helpful in my making decisions to replace my sump pump. I can tell he loves his job.
