Anthony came out today to replace my sump pump and the battery for my backup system. He was very time efficient, kept a clean work space, and make sure to show me how everything was working after the install. Highly recommend Anthony Modica in every home!

Permaseal sent someone to my home the day I called in response to a home inspection. Dick arrived and was able to answer our questions, address our concerns, and schedule the work within the timeframe necessary.

Brett Meeker was excellent. He patiently spent the time to explain the process and gave us options for certain areas that were problematic. We explained to him that our previous experience with Perma-Seal in having inside drain tile installed, along with the clear explanation he gave about the current technology involved for concrete raising, were keys to proceeding with the project. We set a date for having the work done and paid a down payment. He knows his business.

My technician, Alejandro Lopez, was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. He encouraged me to accompany him while inspecting my property (interior and exterior), answered all my questions, then gave pressure-free recommendations based on his inspections. A+++

The PermaSeal representative that came out today was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of different options for upgrading an existing sump pump. He also performed the maintenance service quickly and efficiently. Great experience!

Shane was always honest with us, in the course of his investigation, step-by-step: It was a confusing situation: the blue transmitter box was giving a false reading: The “WIFI” indicator was green, even though we do not have a WIFI subscription – so it should have been red. The “Active” indicator was red, which was correct, since we do not have a subscription. The “Alert” indicator was red, which was incorrect, since the system was operational, so it should have been green.

(1) Shane swapped-out the blue transmitter box with a new one that was working. The original blue transmitter box was still under warranty (2024). “Alert” indicator is now green, which is correct. The “WIFI” and “Active” indicators are red, which is correct.

(2) In the course of his testing, Shane noticed that the Primary pump was erratic, sometimes working, sometimes not (Intermittent). It had been installed by Perma-Seal in July 2018, so it was nearly 7 years of age and had seen a lot of use in the past few seasons. So Shane recommended replacing it now, instead of waiting for something to happen and being suddenly helpless in an emergency flooding situation. After due consideration, my wife and I both agreed with Shane’s assessment, so we decided to have Shane install the new Zoeller Primary Pump. The Battery Backup Pump is already operational.
