Perma-Seal recently installed their waterguard system around the perimeter of my basement and a sump pump. It was a big investment, but Perma-Seal’s warranties on their work and excellent customer service helped put me at ease with my decision. Everything went smoothly with the installment which took two days. Feliciano, Raul, and Sergio had to break up the concrete around the perimeter of my basement and remove it all, which was no small task. They left everything in good order. Feliciano took the time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. I have also used Perma-Seal to encapsulate my crawlspace and apply Perma-Foam around the rim joist area. I would highly recommend their services.

We were both very satisfied with Robert Barscewski, the consultant who came out to figure out why we had some water in our crawl space. The source of the problem was our water pump, it had something stuck near the pump that was preventing it from working. In addition, he stopped by on the morning of the installation to review the scope and schedule with me and the installation team.The installation team arrived on time and with all of the materials they needed. The installation was done in a professional manner and they completed the job on time. They did a great job of working around my family and did not disturb my home office business. I have not had a moisture or smell problem in the crawl space since the installation was completed. I will recommend Perma-Seal to anyone needing a crawl space solution!

I thought that my problem would take two days to complete. But no these guys rocked it out in one long day. These guys had to go through my house to get to the crawl space, which is in my bedroom closet. With tarps down covering every inch of carpet these guys hauled bucket after bucket out the front door. Then back in with the gravel. These buckets were very heavy. They were so conscious about my tv and another wooden chest. Not one scratch or ding. I could have not had a better crew than these guys. I really hope that they get full recognition for a super job.

Perma-Seal did a crawl space encapsulation on Michael’s home located in Highland Park, IL. We received a 5 stars for each aspect of the work completed. Along with a perfect 5 star rating Michael wrote, I like the work that Perma-Seal did on my craw space.

Tyler came out to look at an old sump pump that wasn’t working correctly. He took a look and he told us the system was 17 years old. (Permaseal) We tried to buy a new battery which wasn’t working the best. So we needed to update what we currently had. Tyler was very knowledgeable about permaseal products and talked to us about updating our current system. We have two sump pumps so we decided to update both units. Tyler got to work. Had the parts on the truck and didn’t have to come back to install. He installed both units fairly quickly. Cleaned up and left the area in the way he found it. Went over the basement defender app and he was out the door. What a nice guy!!! I would recommend Permaseal/Tyler to anybody that needs your services!! 5 out of 5 Stars!!!

Antonio was prompt and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and I am happy with the plans we made to fix my sump pump situation.

Mariano was our technician. He came early, carefully explained the new system and cleaned up the sump pump area after installation. He patiently answered our questions.

Jake was great. He explained everything in detail (learned about sump pumps today) what was happening to my pump and what was needed to fix it. At no point did I feel that I was under pressure to make a decision and he was nice enough to go through everything again over the phone with my husband who was at work.

Anthony and Nile came out to the home to check on the Sump Pump. They were able to detect a problem with the back up battery and did a replacement as promised in the warranty. They were both very knowledgeable and polite. They made the work and inspection easy to follow.

christian was prompt and called when he had to stop at a job on his way here. he replaced the pump and left the house in the same condition as he found it. a very pleasant person/employee.

I was have a hard day in general and almost wanted to cancel my appointment but knew I needed to have a maintenance check, I was not disappointed. Sergio and his helper (coincidentally also named Sergio) seemed very diligent in cleaning out as much of the sand in the system as possible, and even suggesting a rather more radical next step to get around the last few roadblocks, which I declined at this time.
There does seem to be a flaw in the way the system was originally installed, with a viewpoint to maintenance (cleanout) in terms of the number of tight right-angle corners in the layout.
