Manny came out to my home and did a jet cleaning of my sewer line from the sewer stack in my basement out to the street. He was able to come out to my home the very next day after another Perma-Seal plumber called him the day before. Manny got right to work after arriving and completed the work in a very efficient manner. Manny showed me the pipe after cleaning it out using the attached camera device. He explained everything in a way that I could understand. I feel reassured and much better educated about this important part of our old home.

I want to thank Crew Chief Guillermo for all of his hard work on waterproofing our basement. He and his crew worked very hard over the two days they were here. Guillermo kept me informed of the progress of the work being done. He was patient and gave me his time for me to ask questions and raise any concerns I had along the way. He and his crew were professional in the way they worked. He and his crew were respectful of my property and cleaned up well after finishing their work. My wife and I are now feeling relieved that we will finally have a dry basement! Thank you.

Shane was always honest with us, in the course of his investigation, step-by-step: It was a confusing situation: the blue transmitter box was giving a false reading: The “WIFI” indicator was green, even though we do not have a WIFI subscription – so it should have been red. The “Active” indicator was red, which was correct, since we do not have a subscription. The “Alert” indicator was red, which was incorrect, since the system was operational, so it should have been green.

(1) Shane swapped-out the blue transmitter box with a new one that was working. The original blue transmitter box was still under warranty (2024). “Alert” indicator is now green, which is correct. The “WIFI” and “Active” indicators are red, which is correct.

(2) In the course of his testing, Shane noticed that the Primary pump was erratic, sometimes working, sometimes not (Intermittent). It had been installed by Perma-Seal in July 2018, so it was nearly 7 years of age and had seen a lot of use in the past few seasons. So Shane recommended replacing it now, instead of waiting for something to happen and being suddenly helpless in an emergency flooding situation. After due consideration, my wife and I both agreed with Shane’s assessment, so we decided to have Shane install the new Zoeller Primary Pump. The Battery Backup Pump is already operational.

Jim G was out today. He performed a hose test and found the leak. He showed a presentation on how we can fix. Very professinal.

I was very happy that I called permaseal everyone has been super helpful and today I had my inspection for my basement to find out why it was leaking water. Zack Warren was my inspector. He greeted me with a smile and welcomed all my questions and eased my worries! He was very detail in explaining what was happening and what needed to be done to fix the problem. Thanking Gene for the recent maintenance with our Perma Seal-there has been a foul smell coming from the pump area and he had cleaned it thorouhly and was like a freshly chlorined basement we have now -and gave us information on how to keep it smelling good all the time.

Antonio, was at our house today and did a very thorough job servicing our sump pump. I am not at all that familiar with the ins and out out of our sump pump so it was great to have him here to look at everything, clean everything and explain everything that was going on to me. He did a great job and was very pleasant. He also gave me options on our maintenance agreement, which was very helpful. I have not made a decision if I will extend or not, but I have the information.
