I worked with Josue Hernandez on a project to encapsulate our crawlspace. Upon arrival, he assessed what needed to be done, and was very thorough in explaining the issue so that I felt well informed on our options. There were some very difficult aspects to our project (shape and entries to our crawlspace) but he did a great job to accommodate. We are pleased with the final result.

Jake Showed up early and was able to explain and assuage our fears after discovering our underground discharge line had failed. Getting it replaced will give us peace of mind and security that our crawlspace stays dry. 5 Stars!

Jeff was prompt and extremely informative regarding my options for my basement. He was well-versed in the code requirements for the city of Chicago. He thoroughly answered all my questions. I really appreciated the high level of service he provided. I have met with several other businesses and PermaSeal’s customer service is the best I have encountered thus far.

The initial quote process was fast, friendly, and painless. As for the work itself, Perma-Seal arrived on time and quickly had the fix in place. I’ve waited over a year to write the review just to make sure, but so far it’s been dry as a bone down there. Upon initial inspection it looks like the previous owner attempted their own fix prior to this, but clearly that didn’t work out too well! My only gripe (minor) is that it took a month between the time I said ‘go’ and their availability to do the work. I guess that speaks to the companies popularity though, and being busy is good for business.

They fixed leaks in the basement floor by digging and inserting drain hose at the interior perimeter of basement floor and directed the drainage to a new sump pump. I have not seen a drop of water since. I had this company replace another worn sump pump about a year ago.The workers were professional, and swift with the labor and clean up. Clean up was excellent considering it was a rainy day. Every thing worked when tested and has worked very well since. I am pleased with the lifetime warranty and know they will be there if something is wrong. You need to remove anything against the perimeter walls of the basement, e.g., washer/dryer, cabinets, tables, workbench, etc. Good opportunity to clean and paint if needed.

The technician Tyler Cook was very professional and thorough. Some advice was given on overall conditions in our basement which were very much appreciated.

Austin Keen was very kind and thorough. He made sure to explain everything he was doing and what we should expect to see. He made sure I understood how the app and the system work. He suggested tips on further protecting our foundation and made sure I knew how successfully the basement defender system has worked. The Permaseal representative that came to our home was outstanding! His name is Tyler Cook. He took the time to explain what he was doing as he inspected the sump pump which included an inspection of the outdoor drains. He also inspected the rest of our basement. It was refreshing to get an inspector that truly cared about his job and was willing to take the time to talk to us and give us suggestions. We signed up for the multiple inspection package for 5 years for $325.

Antonio was great!! He was friendly & informative and taught me everything I need to know about my sub pump as well as a quote for a new backup.
