From the very start when he came out to my home to talk about the basement waterproofing needed in my home to the numerous times I called him with follow up questions and concerns after signing the contract for Perma-Seal to do the job. John was always available and reassuring. He took the time with me and explained things very well for me to understand. He never was pushy with me. Manny came out to my home and did a jet cleaning of my sewer line from the sewer stack in my basement out to the street. He was able to come out to my home the very next day after another Perma-Seal plumber called him the day before. Manny got right to work after arriving and completed the work in a very efficient manner. Manny showed me the pipe after cleaning it out using the attached camera device. He explained everything in a way that I could understand. I feel reassured and much better educated about this important part of our old home.

I want to thank Crew Chief Guillermo for all of his hard work on waterproofing our basement. He and his crew worked very hard over the two days they were here. Guillermo kept me informed of the progress of the work being done. He was patient and gave me his time for me to ask questions and raise any concerns I had along the way. He and his crew were professional in the way they worked. He and his crew were respectful of my property and cleaned up well after finishing their work. My wife and I are now feeling relieved that we will finally have a dry basement! Thank you.

Shane was always honest with us, in the course of his investigation, step-by-step: It was a confusing situation: the blue transmitter box was giving a false reading: The “WIFI” indicator was green, even though we do not have a WIFI subscription – so it should have been red. The “Active” indicator was red, which was correct, since we do not have a subscription. The “Alert” indicator was red, which was incorrect, since the system was operational, so it should have been green.

(1) Shane swapped-out the blue transmitter box with a new one that was working. The original blue transmitter box was still under warranty (2024). “Alert” indicator is now green, which is correct. The “WIFI” and “Active” indicators are red, which is correct.

(2) In the course of his testing, Shane noticed that the Primary pump was erratic, sometimes working, sometimes not (Intermittent). It had been installed by Perma-Seal in July 2018, so it was nearly 7 years of age and had seen a lot of use in the past few seasons. So Shane recommended replacing it now, instead of waiting for something to happen and being suddenly helpless in an emergency flooding situation. After due consideration, my wife and I both agreed with Shane’s assessment, so we decided to have Shane install the new Zoeller Primary Pump. The Battery Backup Pump is already operational.

Jim G was out today. He performed a hose test and found the leak. He showed a presentation on how we can fix. Very professinal.

Austin K did a fantastic job today with his manager. He was able to replace my sump pumps quick an efficient.

Antonio Garcia was the technician here today. He was very friendly and professional. He is very knowledgeable about Permaseal and their products and did a great job explaining things to me as well as installing my new pumps and basement defender system. I had a consultation with John Ferguson today. Exceptional agent, very precise and well aware of what works need to be done to repair cracks in basement. Alone with how to restructure and re-anchor foundational wall in my basement. All in a effort to stop leaking and flooding problems occurring in my basement. Tony W arrived within the window time frame provided and greeted me as he was approaching. He and I both went to the basement where he inspected the area of concern and did show where areas of water intrusion was evident. He then was able to provide a cost and a date for the repairs.
