We are proud to support Inside Out Club DuPage and the amazing work they do in the local community. Inside Out Club empowers thousands of youth each year to live life with good character, on the inside. Their vision is to create a generation of children who give back and make a positive impact on the world around them.
“Inside Out Club activities help set children on a path of positive mental health as they learn the value of kindness, use empathy when responding to others, practice self-compassion and healthy coping skills, and help other people, animals and the planet,” said Mario Ruthig, founder and executive director, Inside Out Club. “None of this work could happen without community partners like Perma-Seal. Their support helps keep programs fees low and cover fees for those that couldn’t not otherwise afford these impactful programs.”
Last year, Inside Out Club participants spent 5,006 hours building character and volunteering. Children in the program created 1,887 service projects, including gratitude cards, snuggle bunnies for seniors, stockings for the troops, and more. Each project aims to spread kindness and joy in their communities all while developing empathy, gratitude and compassion.
