At the 2005 Basement Systems annual convention, Perma-Seal Basement Systems was named 2005’s #8 dealer in total sales out of 160 dealers worldwide. Basement Systems is the largest network of full-service basement waterproofing contractors and basement environment specialists in North America, with over 110 dealers in 42 states, and across Canada and the UK.
Perma-Seal, recognized as the leader in permanent waterproofing repairs in the greater Chicagoland area, joined Basement Systems in 1992 as Chicagoland’s exclusive Basement Systems Dealer. Through this affiliation, Perma-Seal is able to offer innovative, patented products and services that no competitor can offer. Basement Systems also provides access to a pipeline of knowledge and resources from over 160 of the best waterproofing companies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Poland.
Perma-Seal Basement Systems Owner and Founder, Roy Spencer, also won the prestigious Ernst & Young Retail & Consumer Products Entrepreneur of the Year 2003 award.
Perma-Seal is an active member of the Better Business Bureau of Chicagoland and Northern Indiana. Spencer is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Chicago chapter. In 2003, Perma-Seal Basement Systems was the winner of the BBB annual Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
Founded in 1979, Perma-Seal Basement Systems, Inc. has 30 trucks on the road daily, and nearly 100 employees. The company’s main office is located at 513 Rogers Street, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. To better service the Northwest Indiana area, Perma-Seal has recently opened an office located in Hammond, Indiana.
Perma-Seal donated 10% of their net profit for the month of September 2005 to the McCormick Tribune Foundation hurricane Katrina Relief Campaign.
