All Tribe Recap - Reflecting and Celebrating What’s Ahead

As we close out 2021 and embark on 2022, we remain steadfast in our commitment to serving our Tribal members and homeowners in need of basement and crawlspace waterproofing and foundation repair services. In our 43rd year, Perma-Seal continues to experience exciting growth with new installers hired, an expanded fleet, and a commitment to the environment including the installation of solar panels at our Burr Ridge facility and an expanded recycling program.

Perma-Seal's annual All Tribe Meeting provides an opportunity to bring together our Tribal members to reflect on and celebrate the past year's successes and look ahead to the next 12 months and beyond. The All Tribe is our chance to pause and appreciate what has been accomplished.

"Our All Tribe meeting is something we look forward to each year. Over the course of five days, we celebrated our successes of the past year while we looked ahead to the next 12 months and beyond. Departments were able to come together and strengthen relationships through reflection, celebration, team building, and supporting local charities," said Laura Ann Spencer, Executive Vice President and Leader of Culture and People Development. "The common thread in everything we do, including our All Tribe meeting, is living our core values and celebrating those values in action so we can continue to strive to achieve our purpose to make the world a better place. "

Living our Core Values for our Tribe, our Customers, our Partners and the Communities we serve is one of the cornerstones of the growth and success of our Tribe for over 43 years. Day four of the 2022 All Tribe was dedicated to our Core Values as department leaders recognized Tribal members that embody Perma-Seal's Core Values without exception.

Perma-Seal's Core Values

  • We work hard…Seriously!
  • We act with urgency
  • We do what we say we will do
  • We strive to be better
  • We are compassionate
  • We inspire creativity, optimism, and fun!

Our Core Values support our larger purpose, to make the world a better place. As we continually work towards fulfilling our purpose, we seek opportunities to use our means and resources to serve the communities we're a part of. During the weeklong All Tribe we partnered with three area charities:

West Suburban Community Pantry: Working to eradicate hunger within DuPage County, West Suburban Community Pantry serves as a bridge to vital resources that empower shoppers and foster families in crisis to better futures. Our Tribe assembled seedling kits for individuals to create their own gardens in their new homes.

Bridge Communities: Bridge Communities serves homeless families with mentoring, housing, and supportive services. We pulled together camping kits that included a sleeping bag, flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, tooth brush, tooth paste, and more. The camping kits will be provided to children transitioning from homelessness as they experience the fun of summer camp.
Blessing Hands: The 150 Easter baskets were assembled for children who are a part of Blessing Hands. Blessing Hands is a nonprofit affiliated with the Chicago Area Project. They work together with the community to provide food and other essential necessities to low income families in addition to running youth programs to promote self-efficacy.
"I am proud of Perma-Seal's All Tribe tradition and taking time to recap our successes, celebrate future goals, and support the communities we serve. As I reflect on 2021 and all that our Tribe has accomplished, I could not be more proud of the steadfast commitment we have to each other and the homeowners we serve," said Roy Spencer, founder and President of Perma-Seal. "We are positioned to provide superior, quality service to even more homeowners in 2022. We will continue to create value for the members of our Tribe, customers, and stakeholders as we pursue our purpose of making the world a better place and strive to be better for all we serve."
